Patiece :mother of all VIRTUES!

Daily reflections
EZEKIEL WILLIAM

PATIENCE : mother of all Virtues
Heb 6 : 15
…………………”and so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the Promise .
References : luke 8 : 15. 2Tim 6:11, Heb 6: 12s
Patience is one of the most important virtues that every man must possess. Patience makes the waiting process in life a hopeful one. An impatient man cannot receive blessings from God. No man or woman has ever received blessings from God at every tap of their finger, they have to wait and be tried or examined for a while. The process of trying us is not to bitter us but to better us.
Heb 6:12 reads……”that ye be not slothful but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
Many have fasted and prayed for a long time about issues affecting their lives , families , finance and have become discouraged cos the answers seem not to be forth coming.
A preacher once said “if God answers all our Prayers and grants all our requests at once , the aim of Prayers and the need for God would be defeated, thereby making us independent entities. We are not made to self-exist, we are created to always depend on God. Therefore, there must always be that feeling of emptiness in us whenever we move away from Him.
Have you been praying for a spouse, Praying for a home. Finances , have you been praying for healing in your career, life ,  career and the answers seem so far away. Keep on trusting God .
Cast not away your confidence because God defers his performances. That which does not come in your time, will be hastened in His time, which is always the more convenient season.
                                                                                                                Matthew Henry

We need to understand that the waiting period in life is not usually as a result of sin, it is an important stage in the development of the promise itself, and remember the Dark Room is the most important stage in the development of the film.
One example among the patriarchs of Faith and patience is JOSEPH. He saw the promise, God confirmed the Promise, he claimed the promise and worked towards realizing it but he had to go through some hard times. He passed through the refining process- he went through from humiliation, reproach, ridicule and imprisonment made him the real Joseph when he became Governor of Egypt.
Remember, you get the chick by hatching the egg, not by smashing it.
It is important to note that every step you take during the waiting process determines how close or far you are to the promise. It is therefore important to go only where he goes and do only what he says , we have to wait until we receive the next command.
Remember the saying “the patient dog, eats the fattest bone” if the patient dog gets the fattest bone , then the patient man will get the best of everything in life.
A Christian without patience is like a soldier without arms.
Wait for it , for it shall come to pass and not tarry.
Amen !
